Having been a devout Spirit fan for the past season I was delighted when my beau, Dave, asked if I would want to venture to Atlantic City for the remaining championship games. We left on Friday morning and arrived at our hotel 6+ hours later just in time to shower and head to the ball park.
We had a 20 minute ride to the ballpark and were surprised when another Spirit fan, who was staying at the same hotel, pulled up behind us and offered to lead us to the park. He'd been there before so we knew we wouldn't get lost.
The Bernie Robbins Stadium is beautiful from the outside and from the inside. Looking at the stadium from the front of the parking lot the first thing I noticed was the long staircase and the murals that adorned the sides of the front entrance.
